The annual Christmas Concert given by the Altoona Symphony Orchestra at the historic Mishler Theatre this year was an excellent family oriented evening. There were several bonuses that evening. There was a youth symphony and a children's choir as well. The Altoona Symphony played many Christmas favorites and gave a tremendous performance.

There was a surprise visit by the Grinch this year, but don't worry, the mean Grinch was soon won over with Christmas spirit after listening to the children's choir!

Listening to the Altoona Symphony at Mishler is extra special at Christmas time. The architecture at Mishler is beautiful, and the music is very enjoyable.

Getting to the Mishler was not difficult as it is located not far from I-99. There was lots of parking right across from the Mishler Theatre. The theatre opened a half hour before the concert. Tickets were about $30 each for the seats we had up front.
